Advanced Electrical Engineer

About the role

This role will perform a variety of electrical engineering tasks related to design, development, and research that will elevate the state of the art in performance while maintaining the practical aspects of manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Electromagnetic Design & Analysis:
• Radome and antenna design and performance evaluation, including signature control
• Simulation code development & commercial code (HFSS, CST, FEKO) application
• Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
• RF Testing:
• Dielectric material measurement – dielectric constant and loss tangent
• Radome wall measurements – transmission and reflection
• Radome acceptance testing: transmission, beam deflection, polarization effects, null depth, radiation pattern
• Test system design and implementation
• Manufacturing:
• Support development of new materials and processes (e.g., additive manufacturing)
• Evaluate RF performance impact of repairs and manufacturing tolerances
• Leadership:
• Opportunity to lead small teams on tasks, offer electrical design support for projects and to interface with customers

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
• Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

Pay

USD $112,500.00/Yr. - USD $122,500.00/Yr.

Schedule

This position is fully on-site as due to supporting our production operations.
