Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to innovate key enabling technologies in cutting-edge projects.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of glass interposer reliability linked to design, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Design and execute test vehicles, stress tests, and characterization plans to rigorously assess glass interposer reliability.
- Perform thermo-mechanical FEA analyses to support product performance and reliability assessments.
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) to proactively identify design risks and bolster product reliability.
- Assist in module design activities for existing and future product innovations, enhancing overall development efforts.
- Liaise with vendors to finalize and validate design specifications for new parts, ensuring they meet project requirements.
- Engage in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that promotes rapid advancement of groundbreaking technologies and solutions.
Requirements
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (MATLAB, ML/AI)
- Extensive experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Strong statistical analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills
- Experience with ANSYS and Zemax (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with CREO or Solidworks (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of optical design (nice-to-have)
