About the role
This role involves providing emergency medical care to Sollis Health patients in clinics and conducting home visits. The position requires supervision by an attending physician and is part of a growing organization offering seamless care.
Responsibilities
- Performing medical evaluations and formulating a differential diagnosis and treatment plan within the scope of emergency medicine.
- Managing high-level medical conditions such as atrial fibrillation, tachycardia, congestive heart failure, and acute abdominal pain.
- Conducting medical procedures including obtaining IV access, administering fluids and medications, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, performing POC testing, and performing EKGs.
- Assessing and treating Covid-related cases by obtaining clinical samples, performing point of care testing, obtaining blood for antibody tests, managing symptoms, and providing recommendations.
- Engaging in clinical charting at a high level, including detailed history of present illness, physical exams, differential diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Collaborating with the Medical Director and other clinical team members to adhere to policies and deliver top-quality care.
- Providing high-level customer service, addressing patients' needs, and coordinating additional care with Care Coordination and house calls teams or Medical Partners.
- Ensuring a comprehensive transfer of responsibility for pending labs or imaging to in-clinic providers at the end of the shift.
- Performing related duties as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, required.
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program, required.
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license and ability to practice in Florida.
- DEA license required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required upon hire.
- House call, EMS/pre-hospital, concierge experience a plus.
- Experience in emergency departments and/or urgent care centers preferred (2-3 years).

- Comfortable interfacing with high-end clientele.
