The John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art is located in Sarasota, Florida, and is a department of Florida State University.
Responsibilities
- Process phone sales for Ringling Museum admissions, tours, and events.
- Process credit and debit card payments remotely following PCI protocols.
- Process membership payments, payments/donations received in the mail, and other invoices as necessary.
- Review incoming Advance Sales email account, answering questions and addressing ticketing issues.
- Answer the Switchboard, addressing all general questions, and transferring all other calls to the appropriate staff/department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Tessitura experience or the ability to learn/use a web-based computer ticketing system.
- Verbal fluency in additional language(s) besides English.
- Experience with:
- Operating a switchboard/phone sales.
- Point of sale.
- Microsoft Office suite.
Pay
$15.45 per hour (24 hours a week).
Schedule
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required per the needs of the Ringling.

- This is an OPS/temporary job.
- Based on the duties, this position may require completion of a criminal history background check.
