About the Opportunity
The Sales Operations Associate role is designed to optimize the sales organization’s efficiency by managing key sales planning processes and systems. This position is responsible for enabling the sales teams to operate effectively by overseeing territory assignments, quota models, and compensation plans. The role impacts how the organization goes to market by ensuring sales operations are data-driven, coordinated, and aligned across departments.
Responsibilities
- Manage the territory planning process including data compilation and system upkeep.
- Develop and maintain quota models, conduct lead review cycles, and monitor sales performance.
- Collaborate with Finance and HR on compensation plan design and cost modeling.
- Serve as the primary resource for sales representatives regarding compensation plan clarity.
- Identify and reduce process inefficiencies through documentation and operational support.
- Align processes, data definitions, and planning cycles across Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an analytical, business, or technical field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or a related function.
- Experience with end-to-end sales planning, including territory design and compensation administration.
- Strong understanding of sales metrics and forecasting.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, and sales tools such as Clari.
- Ability to communicate complex processes clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Finance and HR on compensation and planning.
- Skill in designing scalable processes to enhance efficiency.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity through data and judgment.
- Flexibility to take on evolving responsibilities.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
The pay range for this role is $100,000 to $110,000 USD. Compensation will be determined based on candidate experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
