Optum NY is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician - Nurse Practitioner - Oncology to join our team in Middletown, NY. Responsibilities
- Diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic, and long-term healthcare issues
- Identify, evaluate, and address disease prevention and health promotion for the patient population
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, documenting evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations
- Educate patients and families about preventative care, medical issues, and prescribed treatments or medications

Requirements
- Unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse in New York State
- Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Unrestricted DEA license (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

Pay
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 to $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus, and may increase over time based on productivity and performance. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
