Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for new and existing patients.
- Manage treatment plans, side effects, and infusion reactions.
- Support infusion center operations, including triage and lab result review.
- Develop survivorship and palliative care plans, and coordinate patient care with other providers.
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, and side effects.
- Provide inpatient acute care, assist with admissions/discharges, and administer intrathecal chemotherapy.
- Offer after-hours call coverage, including triage and urgent care decisions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner program.
- PREFERRED: Experience in oncology nursing or as a provider.
- Licensure as an advanced practice clinician (PA or NP) in the relevant state or ability to obtain.
- DEA license or eligibility to acquire one.
- Current BLS certification per American Heart Association standards.
