Role Overview

Responsibilities

  • Performing patient assessments
  • Managing treatment plans, side effects, and infusion reactions
  • Developing survivorship and palliative care plans
  • Collaborating with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and primary care providers
  • Patient education and counseling
  • Providing inpatient and outpatient care
  • Rapid assessment of acutely ill patients
  • After-hours call coverage
  • Supporting infusion centers
  • Administering intrathecal chemotherapy
  • Coordinating end-of-life care and referrals

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Oncology experience preferred
  • Licensure as an advanced practice clinician (PA or NP) in Delaware or eligible
  • DEA licensure or eligibility
  • Current BLS certification
