Role Overview
Responsibilities
- Performing patient assessments
- Managing treatment plans, side effects, and infusion reactions
- Developing survivorship and palliative care plans
- Collaborating with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and primary care providers
- Patient education and counseling
- Providing inpatient and outpatient care
- Rapid assessment of acutely ill patients
- After-hours call coverage
- Supporting infusion centers
- Administering intrathecal chemotherapy
- Coordinating end-of-life care and referrals
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner program
- Oncology experience preferred
- Licensure as an advanced practice clinician (PA or NP) in Delaware or eligible
- DEA licensure or eligibility
- Current BLS certification
