Salary Range: $5,750 – $7,250 monthly

About the role

Friends for Kathy Hochul is seeking a full-time Advance Lead to help manage the planning, logistics, and execution of statewide events for the Hochul-Adams ticket. The Advance Lead works closely with the Deputy Director of Advance to run event sites, mentor Advance Associates, and represent the campaign at events.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and on-site execution of assigned events, including rallies, GOTV events, and comms tour stops without principal presence.
• Conduct scouting and walkthroughs of event sites and venues, and coordinate with event hosts and vendors.
• Directly oversee Advance Associates and other campaign staff on-site, providing real-time guidance and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate volunteer and crowd management, and security coordination in partnership with local law enforcement and campaign security as needed.
• Support day-of logistics across multiple concurrent events to ensure smooth, on-time execution.
• Liaise with campaign partners on shared event logistics.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in political advance or event production, with demonstrated ability to run a site independently.
• Elite situational awareness, sound judgment, and a track record of handling high-pressure logistical updates or security concerns.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable with non-traditional hours and frequent statewide travel.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
