Organizational duties & responsibilities

  • Safeguard the safety and well-being of all Ramey-Estep/Re-group (RE) clients.
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of RE.
  • Adhere to the agency’s code of ethics, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain accreditation and comply with regulatory agencies.
  • Facilitate positive interactions with clients and staff.
  • Exhibit mature behavior, respect, teamwork, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Communicate effectively using agency communication systems.
  • Participate in professional development programs.
  • Manage financial and physical resources to achieve RE's mission.
  • Report incidents of abuse or potential abuse to the appropriate authorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage shifts and address issues in the treatment milieu.
  • Guide and assist clients in various aspects of the program.
  • Create and enforce boundaries while responding sensitively to clients' needs.
  • Utilize Safe Crisis Management (SCM) skills as needed.
  • Implement learned skills through therapeutic programming.
  • Lead assigned groups and provide educational assistance.
  • Ensure clients focus on treatment goals.
  • Communicate with treatment team staff and follow daily assignments.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and act as a positive role model.
  • Keep accurate records and write thorough reports.
  • Drive agency vehicles safely and lawfully.
  • Teach grooming, hygiene, and other life skills.
  • Monitor visitations and ensure compliance with program rules.
  • Comply with licensing and certification standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions/Environment

  • Varying shift hours due to staffing needs.
  • 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, 365-day-a-year operation.
  • Varied shift hours based on staffing needs.
  • Holidays and weekends scheduled for all direct care staff.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Meals provided when on campus.
  • Fast-paced environment with quick decision-making required.
  • Indoor and outdoor environment with potential for loud and stressful situations.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with SUD populations preferred.
  • Experience in management, leadership, or supervision preferred.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Valid Driver’s License and insurability for some positions.

Specific Skills and Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other organizational tools.
  • Ability to understand and relate to diverse client backgrounds.
  • Ability to read, write, and converse in English.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Background screening.
  • TB skin test or negative chest x-ray.
  • Completion of specialized licenses or training.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, reach, and use hands and arms.
  • Occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Use computer keyboard and mouse.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs.
  • Use close, distance, and peripheral vision.
