About the role
Join a compassionate team as an Adult Residential Support Professional in a Substance Use Disorder treatment facility.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support residents, providing positive role modeling, and maintaining documentation of actions and behaviors.
- Assist with medication monitoring, basic first aid, and crisis intervention.
- Support residents in achieving recovery goals through life skills, group activities, and educational support.
- Perform general housekeeping, organizing supplies, and possibly transporting residents to appointments.
- Maintain confidentiality, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in training and meetings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; related experience or coursework in social work, psychology, or human services preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet auto insurance requirements.
- Effective communication, problem-solving skills, patience, and teamwork ability.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
Additional Details
- Work in a community-based residential setting with outdoor and indoor activities.
- Physical ability to perform duties such as standing, walking, and outdoor monitoring.
- Ability to travel up to 50% for day trips.
