Adult Day Program Supervisor

LCCC is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Services Adult Day Program Supervisor for the Be Our Guest Adult Day Program in Livingston County.

About the role

Supervise and coordinate the development and daily operation of the Be Our Guest Adult Day program, which serves individuals with cognitive impairments, primarily Alzheimer's disease and Dementia. Responsibilities include supervising program assistants, conducting new participant assessments, and collaborating with family caregivers to develop care plan goals. Additionally, assist the Director of Senior Services with programming policies, procedures, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of the Be Our Guest Adult Day program.
• Oversee program assistants and ensure program quality and safety.
• Conduct assessments for new participants.
• Work closely with family caregivers to establish and meet care plan goals.
• Assist the Director of Senior Services with policy development, procedures, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work, gerontology, or another human service area (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of five years' experience in senior services, including at least two years of supervisory experience in a human service or social service setting.
• Understanding of the needs of the elderly population, particularly those with Alzheimer's disease and Dementia.
• Awareness of special concerns and challenges faced by caregivers.
