Responsibilities
- Trained small group facilitator gifted in adult accompaniment
- Facilitate small group discussions during Adult Confirmation sessions
- Curate, review, and evaluate ongoing faith formation resources for adult disciples
- (Co-lead) and conduct (lead) catechist/facilitator trainings
- Lead catechist with a vision of evangelizing catechesis & discipleship development
- Lead adult Confirmation sessions, as needed, with emphasis on discipleship development
- Knowledge of the archdiocesan Adult Confirmation process, sacramental policies and adult faith accompaniment methodologies
- Collaborate with ministry team for ongoing curriculum adaptations and visioning
- Attend Adult Confirmation Liturgies to welcome, support and accompany candidates
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry or related field of study from an accredited college or university, or equivalency
- At least three years of experience in adult formation, outreach, ministry, and administration
- Fully committed to the Catholic Church’s teaching on the Gospel message
- Passion for accompanying adult disciples on their faith journey
- Open to trainings for the development of pastoral accompaniment skills as needed
- Able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, including persons with varied social, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds
- Excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Power Point, and Excel
- Working knowledge of the Zoom platform
Preferred
- Master’s Degree in Theology or related field of Study
- Five or more years of proven professional experience in the field of adult formation, outreach, ministry, and administration
- Excellent communications and conflict resolution skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish

This position has an annualized salary range of $53,446 - $65,472. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
