Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, comprehensive cardiac surgical care for adult patients in a dynamic, team-based environment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary heart team conferences.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
• Teach residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Collaborate across NYU Langone locations as part of an integrated academic health system.
• Grow and advance professionally through opportunities at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery (ABTS) with a focus on adult cardiac surgery.
• 2–4+ years of post-training experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), valve repair/replacement, and aortic surgery.
• Experience with structural heart procedures (e.g., TAVR) preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Eligibility for New York State medical licensure.
