Location: Pensacola, FL | Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart
About the role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated cardiac surgeon to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 2 physicians and 3 APPs.
- Call structure: 10 days/month
- Practice setting: mix of surgery, inpatient rounding, and outpatient clinic
- Access to robotics and dedicated block time
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
This job location is in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and/or Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUA/P).

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in cardiovascular surgery
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine (obtained prior to hire date)
- Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
