Cardiac Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Contribute to advanced cardiac procedures and complex surgical case management
• Collaborate with a large, multi-specialty cardiology group
• Work in a dedicated Open Heart ICU and specialized Cardiac ICU
• Participate in clinical leadership, program development, and quality and outcomes initiatives

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Cardiac Surgeon
• Additional training and/or experience in advanced cardiac procedures and complex surgical case management
• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon upon hire
• Certification by the American Board of Surgery or American Board of Medical Specialties with experience as a practicing cardiac surgeon in the United States upon hire
• Completion of a General Surgery residency upon hire
• Qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital upon hire

Qualifications

• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon upon hire
• Certification by the American Board of Surgery or American Board of Medical Specialties with experience as a practicing cardiac surgeon in the United States upon hire
• Completion of a General Surgery residency upon hire
• Qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital upon hire
