Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive adolescent care, including management of eating disorders, gynecology, nutrition and exercise counseling, STD testing and treatment, substance abuse assessment and referral, parent/child conflict counseling, and more.
- Primarily based in an outpatient clinic environment with some inpatient responsibilities.
- Collaborate with a team of pediatric specialists and other healthcare professionals in a dedicated Children’s Hospital setting.
- Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students from three local medical schools: University of Washington, Washington State University, and Spokane Teaching Health Center.
Qualifications
- Board-certified/Board-eligible in Adolescent Medicine.
- Strong interest and commitment to adolescent health and comprehensive care.
- Able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Teaching experience or interest in working with medical residents is preferred.
