Adolescent Medicine Physician | Teaching Opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive adolescent care, including management of eating disorders, gynecology, nutrition and exercise counseling, STD testing and treatment, substance abuse assessment and referral, parent/child conflict counseling, and more.
  • Primarily based in an outpatient clinic environment with some inpatient responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with a team of pediatric specialists and other healthcare professionals in a dedicated Children’s Hospital setting.
  • Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students from three local medical schools: University of Washington, Washington State University, and Spokane Teaching Health Center.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified/Board-eligible in Adolescent Medicine.
  • Strong interest and commitment to adolescent health and comprehensive care.
  • Able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teaching experience or interest in working with medical residents is preferred.
