About the role
Mainly outpatient focused, with some inpatient rounding. Heavy eating disorders volume. Minimal call volume. Opportunity to participate in lectures, grand rounds, research and quality improvement projects. Works closely with pediatric residents and serves as core residency faculty. Opportunity to earn a clinical faculty appointment with Baylor College of Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with other pediatric specialties - including pediatric gynecology, child psychiatry - as well as support services such as nutrition and social work.
- Opportunity to participate in lectures, grand rounds, research and quality improvement projects.
- Works closely with pediatric residents and serves as core residency faculty.
- Opportunity to earn a clinical faculty appointment with Baylor College of Medicine.
Requirements
Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
Qualifications
- Currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
- Five years of relevant experience.
