Admissions Specialist

Applications are being accepted for the position of Admissions Specialist with East Valley Institute of Technology located at 1601 West Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85201. Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Specialist supports student admissions, registration, and application processing. The position provides customer service to students, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders; assists with maintaining accurate and confidential student records; and provides administrative support to Admissions, Counseling, and Career Services. Job Type Full-Time, 12-Month Classified, Non-Exempt. Work days are Monday-Friday. Salary: $23.09-$29.79. Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, experience in like positions and current job related certification/license. Education And Experience High school diploma or equivalent.Two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative, clerical, customer service, admissions, registration, or related experience.An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.Postsecondary coursework or training in education, business administration, office administration, data management, or a related field is preferred. Licensing /Certification And Other Requirements Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Prints (IVP) fingerprint card. Applicable Arizona Statutes pursuant to Title 15 (Education) and Title 13 (Criminal) and Title 38 (Public Officers and Employees) prevail. Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
