Admissions Representative
About the Role
The Admissions Representative provides customer service and information to prospective students interested in pursuing career education and training. This role involves conducting outbound and inbound communications, hosting campus tours, facilitating enrollments, and supporting students throughout their educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound and inbound telephone calls, texts, and emails; respond timely to all inquiries.
- Share information with prospective students within the framework of Ancora Education’s Code of Conduct, state, and federal accreditation guidelines.
- Schedule campus visits, conduct tours, and facilitate registrations.
- Follow up with new students to ensure a positive transition to active student status.
- Contribute to team initiatives and outcomes through collaboration with diverse groups of employees and customers.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service.
- Strong presentation and computer software skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as industry-related software applications.
- Ability to deliver consistent energy and enthusiasm, thrive in a coaching environment, and handle frequent interruptions while working independently.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, competent priority setting, and ability to foster creativity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related area from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- A track record of success in a high-volume customer service setting.
- Experience with CampusVue and/or Velocify software.
