The Admissions Recruiter is responsible for leading an effective recruitment strategy to attract, grow, and retain students for the Conemaugh School of Nursing and Allied Health Programs. Involved with website updates and social media platforms as a way to market the Nursing and Allied Health Programs. This position is skilled at meeting specific needs of adolescents through adult.
Responsibilities
- Designs and implements a plan to recruit qualified candidates for Conemaugh School of Nursing (CSON) and Allied Health programs.
- Identifies and leverages recruitment campaigns necessary to meet school enrollment benchmark.
- Serves as point of contact for admission office; maintains contact with prospective students, answering questions, making/returning phone calls and email messages, referring student to appropriate resources.
- Maintains online database to which our prospective students inquire or apply.
- Responsible for updating the website with current program information and statistics relating to our student outcome achievement data and accreditation.
- Schedules and conducts tours for prospective students and their families.
- Determines strategy and actively participates in college/job fairs, regional high school visits, and community events to inform and educate on opportunities available at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
- Verifies that applicant data is in keeping with required admission criteria and processes applications.
- Proctors the TEAS entrance exam when appropriate.
- Conducts interviews for all qualified applicants for the School of Nursing.
- Serves as chairperson of the Admissions and Recruitment Committee.
- Determines eligibility of transfer credits into the curriculum and tracks pre-requisite course requirements.
- Assists with applicant transition into the program to include new student registration, orientation, and criminal clearance verification.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2 years experience in a professional role.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Valid PA driver's license and/or reliable transportation for attendance at many and varied recruitment opportunities.
Preferred:
- Previous recruiting experiences.
- Sales and marketing or related experience.
- IT/database development.
- Knowledge of the region and its resources.

Schedule
This is a full-time position with a primarily consistent schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
