Admissions Reader
This position is remote except for two days of on-campus training during the first week of November. Candidates must work from a home office or location within the state of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate applications
- Project assistance including, but not limited to:
- GPA recalculation
- Verifying and checking transcripts and grades
- Additional non-essential tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Three (3) years of experience in Admissions and/or related field
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Maintain confidentiality
- Work with sensitive issues
- Meet deadlines
- Multitask and take initiative
- Work in a team environment
- Exercise sound judgment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
- Knowledge of and appreciation for highly selective liberal arts institutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior application reader experience
- Ability to review and synthesize applications and supporting documents using critical thinking and analysis skills to effectively and succinctly summarize strengths and merits
Schedule
Typical work schedule is approximately 20-28 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during the months of November through the end of March. Flexibility exists based on experience, availability, and interest.
Pay
Salary range: $23.00–$23.00 per hour. The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and the university's overall compensation philosophy.
