Responsibilities
- Work with admissions counselors, professors, coaches/sponsors to make prospective students’ campus visits positive.
- Create and update student records in database.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all students and visitors.
- Affiliate with coordination of campus visit days for prospective freshmen and transfer students.
- Affiliate with coordination of campus visit days for prospective students in certain academic programs or extracurricular activities (i.e. Nursing Day or Football Recruitment Day).
- Represent the University in a positive manner with prospective, current, and former students, employees, and the community.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude in meeting and dealing effectively and courteously with students, other personnel, and all members of the community.
- Work harmoniously with others.
- Arrange on-campus accommodations for prospective students.
- Be a positive role model for students.
- Affiliate with inventory and assessment of equipment.
- Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Preferences
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience: Background in administrative work.
- Abilities: Independent decision making and ability to exercise good judgment; Good written and oral communication skills; Ability to work independently and as a team member to complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines; Organizational skills, time management, relationship building, and communication skills essential.
