About the role

We are seeking a motivated Admissions Counselor to join Grand Canyon Education. This unique campus-based opportunity involves recruiting students primarily through phone and email contact, and occasionally in person. The starting salary is $40,000 per year with a tenure-based compensation plan.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a phone campaign strategy to build awareness of academic programs and campus community.
  • Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students and their families through various mediums including phone, email, text, Zoom, and occasionally in person.
  • Travel to assigned territory to host fairs, school visits, and presentations.
  • Support prospective Grand Canyon University campus students and families through the admissions process, guiding them towards a successful campus experience.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Outstanding time management and organization skills.
  • Clear communication and engaging presentation skills.
  • Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
  • High emotional intelligence.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel about 25% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Relevant industry-related professional experience is a plus.
  • If applicable, experience attending Grand Canyon University on campus and as an alumni.
