About the role
We are seeking a motivated Admissions Counselor to join Grand Canyon Education. This unique campus-based opportunity involves recruiting students primarily through phone and email contact, and occasionally in person. The starting salary is $40,000 per year with a tenure-based compensation plan.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a phone campaign strategy to build awareness of academic programs and campus community.
- Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students and their families through various mediums including phone, email, text, Zoom, and occasionally in person.
- Travel to assigned territory to host fairs, school visits, and presentations.
- Support prospective Grand Canyon University campus students and families through the admissions process, guiding them towards a successful campus experience.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Outstanding time management and organization skills.
- Clear communication and engaging presentation skills.
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
- High emotional intelligence.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel about 25% of the time.
Qualifications
- Experience working with CRM tools is a plus.
- Relevant industry-related professional experience is a plus.
- If applicable, experience attending Grand Canyon University on campus and as an alumni.

Schedule
