Admissions Coordinator
About the role
We are a skilled nursing facility seeking a dynamic full-time Admissions Coordinator to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs. They will observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement to evaluate facility activities and resident progress. The coordinator will participate in community planning, discharge planning, and develop and implement activity care plans and resident assessments. They will interview residents or family members to gather activity information and involve residents and families in planning activity programs and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this facility.
- Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement to evaluate facility activities and resident progress.
- Participate in community planning related to the interests of the facility and the services and needs of the resident and family.
- Interview residents or family members to obtain activity information.
- Involves the resident/family in planning activity programs when possible.
- Involves the resident/family in planning objectives and goals for the resident.
- Aid in arranging transportation to other facilities when necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of nursing facility operations and policies.

Schedule
Full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of the facility and the residents.
Pay
$X per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
