About the role
We are seeking an Admissions Coordinator for Acacia Health Center at Sagewood. The role offers flexible scheduling options, including the possibility to choose your workdays and hours.
Responsibilities
- Maintain open, effective communication between the community and referral sources, physicians, visitors, family, etc.
- Support the admissions process for skilled nursing by providing tours, interviewing resident/responsible parties.
- Obtain and review necessary paperwork, signatures, and other required documentation to ensure successful admissions.
- Provide primary weekend coverage for the admissions team.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Medicare Part A and certification procedures.
- Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Interpersonal skills, works well with multiple teams and departments.
- Proficient with computer, MS-Word, Outlook, Excel, and other office equipment.
- High school/GED graduate, ideally with a bachelor's degree.
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $21.00-24.00/hr.
Schedule
This role requires a 5-day workweek, including Saturdays and Sundays, with shifts from 10am-6pm or 9am-5pm.
