As an Admissions Coordinator, you will serve as the primary contact for families evaluating where to begin their child's education. Each email you compose, event you organize, and discussion you facilitate will influence whether a family selects Alpha. In this capacity, you will oversee the complete journey for prospective families beginning with their initial contact. You will reply promptly and with care, arrange campus visits and shadow experiences, ensure applicant information remains current and correct, and help parents understand how Alpha functions and whether it matches their objectives. This is a highly visible, people-centered role in which you directly affect enrollment outcomes. This is an on-site, fast-moving position located in Palo Alto, CA and Piedmont (East Bay), CA, suited for someone capable of handling concurrent responsibilities with precision and attentiveness. What You Will Be Doing Replying to prospective family inquiries within 24 hours with professional, clear, and Alpha-consistent messagingOrganizing and running admissions events, campus tours, and shadow visits from planning through follow-up communicationsEnsuring applicant records remain complete and precise across CRM systems and admissions toolsConducting meetings with families to clarify Alpha's approach, respond to concerns, and document key informationWorking alongside campus and admissions team members to maintain a streamlined and effective admissions process What You Won’t Be Doing Rendering final admissions decisions or shaping enrollment policiesDelivering instruction or managing academic curriculumApplying aggressive sales methods or using standardized scriptsWorking in a loosely organized or slow-paced setting Admissions Coordinator Key Responsibilities Create a cohesive, high-conversion admissions journey that turns early curiosity into committed enrollment, ensuring families feel well-informed, valued, and enthusiastic about becoming part of Alpha. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
