About the Role

You will serve as the primary contact for families making critical decisions about their child's education. Each interaction you manage—whether a message, an event, or a one-on-one conversation—will directly influence whether a family selects Alpha. This position is intended for someone who prioritizes accuracy, timeliness, and authentic relationship-building, and who recognizes that trust develops through careful, deliberate action.

Alpha is constructing one of the most forward-thinking school models globally. Our facilities integrate demanding academics, technology-enhanced instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and personnel. Admissions is the gateway where this vision becomes tangible. Families seek more than data. They seek clarity, assurance, and proof that Alpha distinguishes itself in substantive ways.

In this capacity, you will oversee the complete journey for prospective families beginning with their initial outreach. You will deliver prompt and considered responses, arrange campus visits and shadow experiences, ensure applicant information remains precise, and help parents understand how Alpha functions and whether it matches their objectives. This is a prominent, people-centered role where you directly affect enrollment outcomes.

This is an onsite, high-tempo role based in Palo Alto, CA and Piedmont (East Bay), CA, suited for someone who can juggle competing demands with precision and attention. If you value transparent communication, reliable execution, and supporting families in making informed decisions, this role provides substantial autonomy and influence.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Addressing prospective family inquiries within 24 hours through clear, professional, and Alpha-consistent messaging
  • Designing and delivering admissions events, campus tours, and shadow day experiences, including logistics and follow-up
  • Keeping applicant records current and accurate across CRM systems and admissions software
  • Conducting family meetings to clarify Alpha's approach, respond to questions, and document key observations
  • Partnering with campus and admissions teams to maintain a streamlined and effective admissions process

What You Won't Be Doing

  • Rendering final admissions decisions or shaping enrollment policy
  • Delivering instruction or managing academic programs
  • Employing aggressive sales techniques or templated messaging
  • Working in a loosely defined or slow-paced setting

Key Responsibilities

Create a smooth, high-conversion admissions journey that turns early interest into assured enrollment, ensuring families feel well-informed, valued, and enthusiastic about becoming part of Alpha.

Basic Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto, CA or Piedmont (East Bay), CA
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
  • Experience supporting admissions events or high-touch onboarding processes
  • Comfort working in fast-changing, tech-enabled environments
