Admission Counselor Student Internship

Responsibilities

• Student Outreach and Engagement: Connect with prospective students via email, text, and phone calls to provide information about the university's programs, admission requirements, and campus life.
• Conduct in-person information sessions alongside Admissions Counselor, ensuring a positive and informative experience for visitors.
• Attend college fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events to promote the university.
• Application Support: Assist students in navigating the application process, answering queries related to application requirements, deadlines, and necessary documentation.
• Review and evaluate incoming applications, providing feedback and guidance to applicants as needed.
• Collaborate with other admissions team members to ensure a smooth and efficient application review process.
• Admission Events: Assist in the operations of admissions events, such as Lipscomb Fridays and Admitted Student Events.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Lipscomb University Admission Student Ambassador set to graduate in May 2027.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Enthusiasm for working with prospective students and families.
