About the role

This position oversees Home Health and Hospice operations in Grand Island, Hastings and Kearney, NE.

Responsibilities

  • Meets established goals and outcomes
  • Ensures regulatory and organizational compliance
  • Directs and coordinates work and financial and operational stability
  • Coordinates sales and marketing for the agency
  • Optimizes customer service and satisfaction
  • Creates and maintains a culture of safety for employees and clients
  • Establishes and maintains a quality assurance performance improvement (QAPI) program
  • Communicates any necessary changes, issues and/or concerns to clients, families and staff
  • Ensures staff are educated on current clinical information and are trained on clinical practices
  • Holds self and team accountable to achieve and sustain desired outcomes
  • Maintains agency compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing or related field required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Five years' experience in a home health, hospice or relevant healthcare setting required
  • Previous leadership experience and healthcare experience, preferably in a home health or hospice agency
  • Licensure for state of practice is required
  • Current valid driver’s license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing or related field required
  • Master’s degree preferred
