About the role
This position oversees Home Health and Hospice operations in Grand Island, Hastings and Kearney, NE.
Responsibilities
- Meets established goals and outcomes
- Ensures regulatory and organizational compliance
- Directs and coordinates work and financial and operational stability
- Coordinates sales and marketing for the agency
- Optimizes customer service and satisfaction
- Creates and maintains a culture of safety for employees and clients
- Establishes and maintains a quality assurance performance improvement (QAPI) program
- Communicates any necessary changes, issues and/or concerns to clients, families and staff
- Ensures staff are educated on current clinical information and are trained on clinical practices
- Holds self and team accountable to achieve and sustain desired outcomes
- Maintains agency compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing or related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Five years' experience in a home health, hospice or relevant healthcare setting required
- Previous leadership experience and healthcare experience, preferably in a home health or hospice agency
- Licensure for state of practice is required
- Current valid driver’s license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing or related field required
