About the role

Understands the claims flow process including Water Mitigation, Reconstruction, Contents, and Environmental work. Manages data entry from First Notice of Loss through job completion in the CRM system. Reviews compliance and job tasks daily, ensuring timely completion. Monitors and updates jobs in the operating system, ensuring efficient claim processing and adherence to cycle times. Ensures accurate photo and document uploads, and follows up for missing homeowner and insurance/mortgage information.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and assists with job estimates, ensuring completeness according to company standards.
  • Manages customer service issues and complaints, documenting actions and resolutions.
  • Ensures daily notes are recorded in all jobs, contacting relevant parties and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Moves up to 20 pounds occasionally, sitting for long periods, performing repetitive motions, and using fine motor skills.
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, and manages confidential information.
  • Manages multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing responsibilities and meeting deadlines.
  • Uses Microsoft Office applications proficiently, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service skills and experience with Xactimate 28.
  • May assist in creating job estimates and final estimates, developing email campaigns, and managing collections and audits.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • IICRC certifications preferred but not required: WTR, ASD, OCT, STC.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • One to three years of Xactimate experience, proficient in Xactimate 28.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Highly organized and able to manage personal time and tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Proficient in social media development and email campaigns.

  • Occasional travel may be required.
