Administrator, Accounts Payable/Receivable (Not a Remote Position)

Qualifications
- 10+ years of accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll experience
- MUST have a Bachelor’s Degree
- REQUIRED: Strong QuickBooks experience
- Experience processing payroll; Paycor experience is a plus
- Knowledge of retirement plan administration, including SIMPLE IRA programs
- Strong Excel and Google Workspace skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable interacting with clients and company leadership
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally
- MUST be able to work onsite in Hoffman Estates, Illinois as part of the hybrid schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and send client invoices
- Monitor incoming payments and collections
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Process monthly company expenses and vendor payments
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
- Support payroll operations
- Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule
- Administer commission calculations and distributions
- Support payroll reporting and related documentation
- Cook up with HR on employee compensation matters
- Manage SIMPLE IRA contributions and reporting
- Coordinate retirement plan payments with the company’s broker
- Ensure timely and accurate retirement account administration
- Work closely with company leadership on operational and financial initiatives
- Aid in reporting, spreadsheets, and financial documentation
- Support internal processes requiring organization, discretion, and attention to detail
