Responsibilities
- Review and process licensure and certification applications
- Ensure accuracy of documents such as transcripts and exam scores
- Issue, renew, audit, reinstate, and inactivate licenses in accordance with state regulations
- Prepare materials for board meetings and coordinate logistics as needed
- Maintain and update licensing data using the My License Office (MLO) system
- Respond to inquiries from applicants, licensees, and the public
- Provide accurate information regarding requirements, statutes, and regulations
- Perform general office tasks including answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining records
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
- 1-2 years of experience performing administrative support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Access and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of HIPAA or experience handling confidential documents
