About the role
This position provides information to callers regarding individual study, outreach, and online courses; enrolls individual study students; maintains and prepares student records and reports; processes payments; serves as a communicator for critical student information and interacts with public both on and off campus; manages Canvas courses and exam program; performs administrative duties of a complex nature; provides secretarial support to staff, routes mail and callers; maintains and updates databases; prepares reports of student enrollment; assists in researching topics; may supervise other clerical staff and/or student; serves as back-up to other Individual Study staff when necessary; all other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- Admin Supp Spclt I: Highschool and 1 year of clerical/customer service experience.
- Admin Supp Spclt II: Highschool and 2 years of clerical/customer service experience.
- Admin Supp Spclt Sr: Highschool and 3 years of clerical/customer service experience.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.
- Bachelor's Business, Education, or related field of study
- Bachelor’s degree, and one year experience working with OSU student information system and familiarity with one or academic college degree requirements;
- Four years of clerical, administrative, and customer service experience in a business or higher education environment;
- Competency using office machines such as multi-line telephone system, copier, facsimile machine, personal computers and standard computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and working in a Windows environment.

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
