About the Role
The House Supervisor oversees the daily operations of various patient care departments within the hospital. This role ensures efficient workflow, adherence to policies, and high-quality support services that contribute to excellent patient care. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating activities, addressing issues as they arise, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of patient care departments.
- Ensure efficient workflow and adherence to hospital policies.
- Supervise and coordinate staff activities.
- Address issues promptly to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
- Contribute to high-quality patient care through leadership and support services.
Requirements
- Graduate from a school of nursing.
- Three years of hospital nursing experience.
- Current RN (Registered Nurse) License in the applicable state of practice.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required before beginning first shift).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Five years of hospital nursing experience.
