Overview We are looking for an Administrative Supervisor to join our team! This position coordinates the administrative functions of the Natural Resources department including file maintenance, customer service, reception, and other related areas. Responsibilities Specifically, this position: May exercise direct, first-level supervision of positions, employees, operations, and activities within the administrative function of a department or division.Establishes and maintains office management systems, processes, forms, and standard operating procedures.Conducts special research projects, including gathering, compiling, and analyzing information; provides alternatives and makes recommendations on courses of action.Oversees the records management function of the department.Administers confidential personnel processes and related files.Acts as a project manager for various administrative programs or special projects. We Are Looking For a Candidate That Will Use routine software and business applications including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and databases.Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.Read and comprehend department and County rules, regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other County employees, representatives of other agencies and organizations, and members of the community.Apply basic supervisory principles and practices.Have knowledge of current business letter writing techniques and methods. Qualifications All candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
