Job Responsibilities

The Department of Motor Vehicles seeks a Titles and Registrations Specialist II who can interpret laws, policies, and procedures, use DMV Phoenix system, correct customer information, combine/merge records, respond to inquiries, and serve as a support function for field offices.

Agency Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a nationwide criminal background check including fingerprinting
  • Extensive knowledge of Motor Vehicle laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to learn and explain policies and procedures to customers
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and experience using the Remedy (Trouble Tickets) system (desired but not required)
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Employee works under general supervision with moderate independence and discretion
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm when assigned
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs
  • Requires prolonged sitting and significant time at a computer terminal

Agency Preferred

  • A high school diploma and two (2) years related job experience
  • An equivalent education and relevant experience may be accepted with prior approval
