About the role
The Monmouth Vicinage General Operations division is seeking a highly motivated self-starter with strong administrative, organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating transcript/audio requests
- Coordinating interpreting services
- Providing logistical coordination and support for jury trials and special court events
- Communicating and establishing working relationships with state agencies, judges, sheriff's office, management, and outside vendors and agencies
- Maintaining and creating standard operating procedures
- Preparing reports and proposals
- Maintaining the divisional SharePoint site
- Arranging training for vicinage staff as needed
- Providing guidance to staff on technical matters
- Analyzing work processes/methods and establishing workflow systems/procedures
- Performing other operational and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree
- Additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree
- Applicants must complete their degree no later than their start date
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Pay
SALARY: The salary range for this position is $54,434.49 to $89,181.84 for Schedule A, and $54,434.49 to $84,722.75 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
Schedule
The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings.
