About the role
You will join a well-respected team responsible for enforcing Federal Criminal and Civil laws protecting citizens. You will provide administrative and technical support.
Responsibilities
- Information receptionist for the headquarters office.
- Receive telephone calls and visitors.
- Serve as timekeeper, processing time and attendance.
- Serve as central point of contact/subject expert for all travel matters.
- Purchase card holder, making credit card purchases within delegated monetary authorization and guidelines.
- Maintain office supplies inventory.
- Review invoices for supplies received.
- Perform data entry within a financial management system.
- Receive, retrieve, and distribute mail daily.
- Record receipt of all funds.
Requirements
- Typing requirement: At least 40 words per minute with three or fewer errors.
- Registration for Selective Service if applicable.
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-6 level.
- Specialized experience includes:
- Reviewing invoices and/or reconciling items.
- Inputting data into databases or spreadsheets.
- Greeting visitors and handling phone calls in an office setting.
- Providing a variety of clerical and administrative functions.
Qualifications
- GS-07: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-6 level.
- Typing requirement: At least 40 words per minute.
- Registration for Selective Service if applicable.
