Job Duties
- Serving as a point of contact for healthcare facilities needing to determine multi-drug resistant organism (MDRO) status of admitted patients
- Looking up patient MDRO status using internal database and maintain request tracking system
- Creating user documentation for all created systems and as requested
- Serving as a liaison between the HAI/AR Team and the CEDEP Business and Grants Management Team
- Managing travel requests and authorizations for HAI/AR Team
- Performing inventory management and control
- Aiding in hiring and onboarding of new HAI/AR staff
- Maintaining public-facing HAI/AR web pages
- Processing and distributing HAI/AR laboratory reports
- Processing and distributing emails from external partners and the public
- Taking and distributing meeting notes and minutes
- Assisting with data collection, entry, formatting, and technical editing
- Providing support to additional HAI/AR projects as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in public health or related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
