Administrative Secretary
Job Overview
The Administrative Secretary performs secretarial and general office duties in the Perioperative department and greets all patients in a timely and friendly manner. The Administrative Secretary ensures accuracy and thoroughness in collecting and documentation of the patient’s demographic and insurance information, and utilizes the technology available to complete the registration.
Qualifications
- High School degree
- One year clerical experience
- PREFERRED: Working in a clinical role, Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

- Receives and appropriately directs all phone calls
- Organizes and maintains files
- Completes statistical information as directed
