Mission: Promote public safety, public health, and trust through fair administration, education, and enforcement of liquor, cannabis, tobacco, and vapor laws.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret complex regulatory documents related to cannabis compliance.
- Provide guidance and training to licensed cannabis businesses on regulatory requirements.
- Conduct inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with cannabis regulations.
- Develop and maintain regulatory databases and reporting systems.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on regulatory trends and compliance issues.
- Collaborate with other departments within the Liquor and Cannabis Board to address regulatory challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public policy, business administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance or law enforcement.
- Knowledge of state and federal cannabis laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience working with cannabis-related businesses and regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
