Mission: Promote public safety, public health, and trust through fair administration, education, and enforcement of liquor, cannabis, tobacco, and vapor laws.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret complex regulatory documents related to cannabis compliance.
  • Provide guidance and training to licensed cannabis businesses on regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with cannabis regulations.
  • Develop and maintain regulatory databases and reporting systems.
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on regulatory trends and compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the Liquor and Cannabis Board to address regulatory challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public policy, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance or law enforcement.
  • Knowledge of state and federal cannabis laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with cannabis-related businesses and regulatory bodies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
