About the role
The Judicial Administrator’s Office of the Louisiana Supreme Court seeks an Administrative Program Assistant to provide specialized administrative and technical support to the Division of Children and Families, reporting to the Deputy Judicial Administrator of the division.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, organizing, and executing training programs and conferences
- Assist with monitoring visits at various courts
- Prepare monthly reports and statistics for compliance
- Create purchasing requisitions and follow up on the automated purchasing process
- Serve as a liaison to the Division of Children and Families throughout the state
- Update program manuals and distribute as needed
- Assist with grant duties
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Six years of progressively responsible secretarial and administrative support experience
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to coordinate a variety of projects across multiple court initiatives
- Excellent writing and organizational skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Some travel is required
Legal experience and familiarity with the court system is preferred. Pre-employment testing may be administered.
