Administrative Operations Specialist - Rod & Range

About the role

The Administrative Operations Specialist at Nemacolin's Rod & Range Club is responsible for ensuring the organization creates and executes top quality service in our Wildlife and Fisheries department. The candidate selected for this role must be able to coordinate schedules and manage company budgets, as well as greet and communicate effectively with staff, guests, members, and trappers while maintaining an effective workflow. The Administrative Operations Specialist role also requires an individual with active problem-solving and organizational skills.

Essential Functions

• Book and schedule reservations.
• Assists with invoices and Purchase orders.
• Celebrates corporate and N.S.C.A. events and shoots with planning, registration, and scoring.
• Celebrates all Rod & Range functions with setup.
• Meets and greets guests at the Rod & Range.
• Maintains Rounds Breakdown, Commission Report, Daily Flash, and Dimensions.
• Completes staff schedules and sends them to staff on a weekly basis.
• Completes payroll and makes sure commissions are submitted bi-weekly.
• Makes sure you accurately and timely complete payroll/gratuity adjustment forms.
• Attends weekly resume meetings and makes sure that all groups for the next week are well planned for.
• Opens and closes the Rod and Range Lodge when needed.
• Maintains member database.
• Gets mail and runs resort errands.
• Accurately schedules shooting reservations.
• Accurately assists in the scoring of tournaments.
• Backs up retail and the retail bank as needed.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal skills.
• Must be able to speak English.
