Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors, respond to inquiries, and direct individuals to the appropriate resources with professionalism, discretion, and care.
- Manage correspondence, maintain confidential records, coordinate schedules, and meet logistics, supporting events and hospitality.
- Process purchasing, travel-related activities, and reconciliations.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Support executive-level operations by applying campus and CSU policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Provide work direction, train, and provide guidance to other employees.
- Coordinate events and special projects.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or the equivalent and at least one year of general office experience.
- Basic written and oral communication skills, including a basic foundation in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Ability to understand basic office procedures, operate standard office equipment and software, and perform basic arithmetic.
- Basic typing and keyboard skills.
- Ability to provide work direction, train, and provide guidance to other employees.
- Ability to make recommendations on employee staffing issues.
- Ability to coordinate events and special projects.
