About the role
The UCMC fellowship employs a project-based model tailored to each fellow's individual goals. Fellows progress through the full continuum from supporting to leading initiatives, and graduate with demonstrated operational capability.
Responsibilities
- Take on a customized portfolio of projects spanning any operational domain, including operational quality improvement projects across clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Engage in project management work of varying scope and complexity.
- Investigate and manage site-based capital projects, including quarterly contingency capital requests.
- Participate in cross-departmental initiatives and executive rounds, providing access to senior leadership.
- Regularly participate in weekly FTE reviews, senior leadership meetings, and monthly director-and-above meetings.
- Engage in high-level discussions on topics such as contracting, finance, and other critical decision areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum Required: Scheduled to certify, license or graduate within 12 months.
- Preferred: Master's Degree.
