Administrative Coordinator -Washington Area
The Administrative Coordinator role is available for current HHMI employees only. Located in the University of Washington area, this position supports HHMI Investigators and fosters a welcoming lab environment.

Principal Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for HHMI Investigators
- Manage the calendar and coordinate complex scheduling
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
- Organize laboratory meetings and special events
- Aid in correspondence management and document preparation
- Assist with visa and academic appointment issues
- Order office supplies and reconcile purchasing card expenses
- Support onboarding processes and HMS appointments
- Coordinate letters of recommendation and process reimbursements
- Communicate with various administrative offices and handle phone calls
- Act as a liaison between the Investigator and other departments
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of high-level executive support experience
- Prior experience with travel support a strong plus
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Customer service orientation and dedication to HHMI's mission
- Strong digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

- Dexterity for manipulating objects
- Communication skills using the spoken word
- Ability to see and hear within normal parameters

Compensation and Benefits
The Administrative Coordinator position offers a competitive salary range from $69,230.00 to $112,470.00 annually, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and recognition programs.
