Administrative Coordinator
About the role
The Administrative Coordinator serves as a key professional leader within Rusk County government, working closely with the County Board, committees, department heads, constitutional officers, and staff to support effective and responsive county operations. The position provides administrative coordination across departments, supports implementation of County Board policies and priorities, and helps ensure the efficient delivery of services to residents.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration or a related field
- A master’s degree is preferred
- At least four years of administrative or management experience, preferably in a government organization
- Experience with budgeting, financial management, and organizational administration
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively with elected officials, staff, and the public
