Administrative Coordinator
About the Role
As an Administrative Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in supporting store operations through effective coordination of hiring, onboarding, payroll, and compliance activities. You’ll manage administrative tasks, maintain employee records, and serve as a liaison between store leadership and corporate departments. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Review applications, conduct interviews, and coordinate training for new hires.
- Manage new hire processes and onboarding activities.
- Handle office communications, maintain files, and manage mail and supply orders with accuracy.
- Coordinate personnel status changes, leave tracking, and resolve benefits/payroll issues.
- Maintain employee records using computer-assisted hiring systems and recordkeeping tools.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, labor laws (including minor scheduling), and records retention policies.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with store leadership, team members, and corporate departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
Requirements
- Experience in recruiting and onboarding, including conducting interviews and managing new hire processes.
- Strong administrative skills, including managing office communications and maintaining files.
- Familiarity with HR and payroll coordination, including personnel status changes and leave tracking.
- Proficiency in computer-assisted hiring systems, recordkeeping tools, and communication platforms.
- Awareness of compliance standards such as HIPAA and labor laws.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with leadership, team members, and corporate departments.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated initiative, dependability, and ability to work autonomously or in team settings.
