We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This full-time, in-office role will report directly to the Office Manager and provide essential support across several key areas, including financial accounting, purchasing, timekeeping, and general administrative functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial accounting tasks, including invoice processing, data entry, and reconciliations.
  • Support purchasing activities and vendor productivity opportunities, including placing orders, managing vendor communications and supply improvement opportunities, managing and maintaining purchasing records and data.
  • Take, reconcile, and enter inventory counts on a scheduled basis.
  • Complete assigned tasks related to month-end close processes accurately and on time.
  • Maintain organized records and assist in document management for audits and reporting.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Support payroll timekeeping and payroll duties in addition to weekly incentive pay calculations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Owning employee engagement and community outreach programs on-site and in local communities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Participate in Sonoco Performance System initiatives and assist in plant productivity improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative, accounting, or office support role
  • Familiarity with accounting systems, purchasing workflows, and timekeeping processes preferred
  • High School degree required, accounting degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience with incentive pay calculations and inventory tracking is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Pay

Hourly Rate: $27.00

Schedule

Full-time, in-office, Day Shift.
